Siren Workplace First Aid Course

Emergency First Aid at Work – 1-Day Training

The 1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is a fully accredited, 6-hour program designed as an excellent introduction to first aid. It’s ideal for individuals who want to gain essential life-saving skills and meet the legal requirements set out in the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations of 1981. Whether you’re new to first aid or need to refresh your knowledge, this course provides a solid foundation for handling emergencies in low-risk workplaces.

Throughout the course, learners are trained to manage emergency situations with confidence and competence, covering key topics like CPR, choking, wounds, and shock. By the end, participants will be prepared to respond calmly and effectively in life-threatening situations. What sets this course apart is the experience and expertise of our instructors, who are active or former members of the Emergency Services, including paramedics, firefighters, and NHS professionals. They bring real-world knowledge to the classroom, sharing firsthand insights from dealing with emergencies in their own careers.

In addition to practical first aid skills, the course emphasises hands-on practice through engaging scenarios and simulations. This approach ensures that learners not only understand the theory behind first aid but also feel confident applying these techniques in real-life situations.
